College Teaching Interns (CTIs) are engaged by the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, to help address teaching requirements in government colleges. CTI placements are temporary and college-specific. The department has previously used an online platform for CTI recruitment and appointed thousands of College Teaching Interns.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned subjects/classes in government colleges.
• Prepare and deliver lectures according to the assigned subject.
• Assist students with academic learning and classroom activities.
• Maintain professional teaching and academic responsibilities during the placement.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Candidates must have the relevant educational qualification for the subject applied for.
• Applicants must meet the eligibility and merit criteria applicable to the CTI position.
• Fresh applicants can create their profile and submit an application through the CTI portal.
• Candidates with an existing profile can log in and apply again.
• Candidates whose applications were returned can correct the required information and resubmit.
• CTI appointments are temporary teaching arrangements and are not regular permanent government employment. HED describes CTIs as temporary appointments against vacant teaching positions.
